Welcome to the consignment shop on Fiber Artist Market. The consignment shop is perfect for someone who wants to sell fiber and related items but does not want to build and maintain a store. The consignment shop allows someone to sell used fiber equipment, de-stash their studios, sell quantities of product in bulk, close out a store, or simply has a single item to sell.
How does it work?
Just contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know you want to consign to the shop. We will need photos of the item(s), measurements, description, pricing, and desired for local pickup versus shipping. We will take it from there and post the information in the consignment shop, market it on social media, and notify the seller if a sale occurs.
There is no guarantee that any given item(s) will sell but we will work hard to find a buyer. We frequently have several people looking for specific items we can reach out to.
Once a sale is completed, we will contact the seller who is responsible for arranging packaging, pick up, and/or shipping. Shipping is calculated by the seller and billed directly to the buyer for and sent to the seller. The seller will get the item safely to the buyer.
Fiber Artist Market charges 25% of the gross sale price for hosting the store and marketing. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have. We reserve the right to refuse any request or item if it violates community standards. We will discuss this with the seller prior to deciding.
