This custom-blended handspun yarn from my alpaca, Xuan, is a special treat, not only because the alpaca fiber was grown on our farm but because the blending and spinning was such a lovely experience from beginning to end. Xuan is a smaller but very sweet, curious male with luscious lofty white fleece that takes dye beautifully.  I added merino wool for extra loftiness and strength, and tencel for a bit of extra silkiness. This would be a wonderful yarn for any project worn next to the skin. Makes a great gift for yourself or the crafty person in your life. Great for weaving accents as well. I like to use my smaller skeins as accent stripes in larger garments. This yarn would make a warm, lovely hat, scarf and fingerless mittens. I photograph in natural light to get the best image possible, however some monitors may show color differently. My studio is smoke-free and dog friendly.

To clean your finished garment hand wash warm, lay flat to dry. May also be dry cleaned. Treat as you would any fine wool garment.
