This hat/beanie is all natural colors of 100% Huacaya Alpaca rovings. It is one of a kind!
I hand spun this on a drop spindle…I can’t remember if it was a Top Whirl or a Turkish Drop Spindle….but that’s beside the point🙄. …I hand spun these 2 different yarns, plyed them, and then knitted them into a hat/beanie (I took a picture of the 2 balls of yarn that I have left).
The brown ball of yarn is really 2 different colors of Alpaca fiber. And so is the light fawn color and white color that I plyed them together.
I don’t know much about different knitting stitches. I think I made this stitch up, but surely not! I did use size 15 circular knitting needles, if that helps. I wanted to make the hat nice and warm and soft! I think I accomplished that😊
