I knitted this. It took FOREVER! But I love how it turned out! My daughter said that it is a “Balaclava/cowl”. Whatever it’s called, it is warm, soft and beautiful.

I got the yarn from a farm down the road from us. They have Huacaya Alpacas – “Alpacas-N-Moore”. The yarn is 80% Alpaca and 20% Merino wool. It weighs 4.1 ounces and is 15”X 11”.

The thing I like most about this cowl is that it’s versatile, depending on what you need for that day! This deep purple/black yarn is one of a kind. The knitting is one of a kind also!
