I guess I’ve been busy at home, in my off time! Well, that’s not correct really…I spun these 2 Huacaya Alpaca rovings into chunky yarn, at the mill. I then plyed them, washed them and THEN I was ready to knit at home!
I love how the 2 colors blended, but contrasted. I hope the pictures do it justice! This cowl is just as soft as the white Suri Alpaca cowl that I spun and knitted. It weighs 9.5 ounces
And …you know…. I think I like cowls better than scarves. You just slip them on. No adjusting. No figuring out the latest tie. It’s just done!
Did you notice that I put all three cowls on the sculpture bust: the Huacaya Alpaca, the Suri Alpaca and the Merino cowl (all on Fiber Artist Market)!☺️
