I knitted a second beanie! O M G!! Knitting fine yarn takes SO MUCH TIME!! I think this yarn was finer than Sports Weight! I love the instant gratification of knitting chunky! Oh well, this yarn was so soft that it was worth the extra time!😊
This second beanie fits the small adult or child size head, but long and can handle hair tucked in it or folded down to warm the ears more and have a close fitting beanie….is “beanie” the right word?🧐
This color is natural medium brown of Huacaya Alpaca: 80% Alpaca and 20% Merino wool – very soft!
It is machine spun from the mini mill in Norman, OK – “Scissor-Tail Yarn and Fiber Mill”, and a lovely job they did! But I bought the skeins of yarn from Alpacas-N-Moore who are just down the road from us with their Alpaca Farm.
