Hand Spun, Navajo Plied yarn made of many kinds of Fiber
Hand Spun, Navajo Plied yarn made of many kinds of Fiber – 62 yards and 7.5 ounces
I’m sorry! I just can’t help myself! I love, love, love, spinning, different kinds of fiber, and then Navajo (“chain”) plying them together! So pretty and the colors aren’t barber-poled.
You see, at Oklahoma Mini Mill, when we get to the end of one customer’s fiber, and begin another customer’s fiber, there is a small amount that we call “the beast“. We roll that fiber up into cute little balls, and then Jamie, our employee, puts a little note inside that says what it is. It is so fun to go through them and pick out the soft ones and spin with it! so that’s what I did🤗
Get ready, because I’m going to tell you all the fiber that I spun with: East Friesian&Jacob, Romney, Babydoll Southdown, Cashgora, Teeswater, Cormo, Mohair, Romeldale, Merino, RambouilletXBond, Jacob&Mohair, CVM (California Variegated Mutant)&Jacob, Alpaca/wool/silk😳🧐🤗
