Handspun Fingering Weight Wool Yarn
Description
This yarn is spun with 100% Nevada-grown wool which came from a Montadale/Finnsheep cross named Petunia đŸ™‚ This is a 2-ply yarn containing the colors: lavender, turquoise, and silver. It is approximately 14-15 WPI which makes this a fingering weight yarn.
I don’t do a lot of handspinning since I am busy with many other things; most of the spinning I do is accomplished while demonstrating at events – and sometimes skeins are finished with HUGE gaps between beginning and ending. Therefore, most of my skeins contain more variance than they otherwise would. But this interest can add variety and interest to your projects.
Most people would NOT consider this next-to-skin soft, but it would be nice for hats, mittens, or outwear.
