Small felted basket made from handspun wool and mohair. The handle is not stiff.

I started with gray wool and dyed mohair. I blended some of the bright pink mohair with some wool to quiet down the brightness. Next, I spun the wool and the blend. I knit the basket and then knit 3 cords which I braided to make the handle. Then it was into the washing machine for felting. This basket is approximately 6 inches in diameter and 4 1/2 inches in height. Use it as a centerpiece or to hold your current project.
