This roving is 65 % Jacobs wool and 35% kid mohair. 8 ounces is $23 and 1 ounce is $3. This silver beauty spins up nicely.
Description
The silver Jacobs fleece came from a local flock. The kid mohair came from one of my own kids. The roving was processed by Stramba Fiber Mill in Wampum, Pa. I spun some and really enjoyed it. It spins easily. There is an occasional piece of hay but it is easily picked out. I didn’t find it annoying. This roving would also be suitable for primitive knitting.
