Getting into this business was a slow evolution of inspirations that turned into a working relationship with fiber. From learning how to knit, after my last child left home, that became weaving on a rigid heddle. That turned into learning to spin on a drop spindle, then a spinning wheel. I tried to skirt, wash, dry, comb, card some Llama and thought THERE MUST BE AN EASIER WAY!!😩 Thats when we had the opportunity to start a fiber mill. We took 9 months to research and travel. We found our machines in Belfast, Prince Edward Isle, Canada. We found our location in our beautiful historic town of Guthrie, just north of Oklahoma City. We are a custom fiber processing mill. We have a retail store that has anything from finished products to custom roving (and unique roving blends) and fiber for hand spinners and needle felting artists. We also have tools needed to finish the products that a customer buys. Example is: Top Whirl Drop Spindles and Turkish Drop Spindles. Also felting needles for the needle felting artists. Our finished products are one of a kind hand spun and hand knitted hats, stocking caps and beanies. Also hand made ponchos, cowls and scarves. We have a wet felting felting machine that we can make felted rugs all sizes. Â
