Schafewald farm is located in the Rocky Mountains north west of Denver Colorado. We have raised purebred Jacob sheep for 20 years. The sheep are raised for their wool, breeding stock & to conserve an endangered breed. The sheep are always coated to ensure the fleeces are clean & mostly free of vegetable matter. I compete my fleeces every year the the Estes Park Wool Market in Estes Park Colorado. I have taken several fleece judging classes & have judged at local fairs. I have fleeces for sale that have been carefully skirted. I also have roving, yarn, both natural color & dyed, felt batts, & braided cat beds for sale. My milled products are all from blended fleeces. Jacob sheep are black & white or gray & white. The mill processes the fleeces by blending the colors. This results in beautiful shades of heather gray. Because each batch that is milled is different the resulting color blends are also different. So, if you see something you like be sure to get enough for your project. Once it is gone the next batch will not be exactly the same color. Please contact me with any questions.
