White wool/Kid Mohair roving

This is a 50-50 blend of white wool and kid mohair. $23 for 8 ounces or $3 per ounce.
Description
The wool comes from a friend’s flock of no specific breed. This was a dual purpose flock but since my friend is a spinner, she did breed for good fleece. I thought it would blend nicely with kid mohair and I was right. I spun some and it was easy to spin and nice to handle. There is an occasional piece of hay but easily picked out. This roving was processed at Stramba Fiber Mill in Wampum, Pa. and I am pleased with the results. So, it spins nicely and would also be suitable for primitive knitting. It would also felt.
