Alpaca Montana Mill is nestled below the majestic Cabinet Mountains in a small NW Montana town where the Kootenai River runs through it. The mill creates beautiful gourmet, colorful Pencil Rovings from alpaca, colored merino, bamboo and colored sparkles that spin like warmed honey butter according to recent customers! The mill can create batts, felted batts, felted soap, felted dryer balls, dyed fiber, yarn and roving along with beautiful hand knitted and crocheted items. The mill also processes customers fiber (alpaca and wool) according to order. And just recently has added fiber art classes!!! And as of Feb 1st we are New Ashford Dealer for Spinning Wheels, Weaving, wet and dry felting, yarn, fiber and much more.
If you have an idea for a colorway that you would like to have custom made for you just give us a shout and we can create it for you. We can do small lots because we use a sample carder to run the fiber through and there is not much waste after or send us your white blank yarn skeins and we can dye them a solid color or hand paint your color choice . We can dye bulk yarn and roving either what you send or from us. We are always up for new creative ideas.
