Hi! I’m Betty Morrissey and I live in Laguna Beach, California. My love of fiber arts began long ago. I started spinning in 2007 and accumulated so much handspun I bought 2 rigid heddle looms in 2015. Weaving is faster than knitting. I wove for about a year with those before I decide to get a floor loom. I weave almost exclusively on my floor loom now. It is a Leclerc Artisat 4 shaft floor loom. I recently added a 45″ wide, 8 shaft Loom Craft loom and it has opened many new design possibilities. I love weaving with cotton and my handspun wool. Cotton kitchen towels and wool rugs are the 2 types of items I love to create. I spin on a Spinolution Mach II wheel and Spinolution Hopper.
